- have you ever had your desk so cluttered and you can't find what you need that was the problem our team had to design a desk organizer for a company to solve it. It had to fit all the criteria and constraints my partner name is Elie
- we chose the desk organizer because it had the easiest constraints so we could work flexible and make the best possible design
- step 1 identifying the problem the problem was to find a way to organize all the stuff that would be on a average persons desk
- step 2 Brainstorming
- the design matrix showed which sketch fit the criteria best 4 sketches were made the best one was chosen
- step 4 identify criteria and constraints
- criteria must not attach to the desk, may not have a footprint that exceeds 6"depth x 12" with x 10 height, must have a recessed area, have a base 3/4 in, must have a minimum of five different parts once assembled, must hold maximum of six items
